Cultural Co-operation

Cultural Co-operation is an independent charity that promotes international and intercultural understanding through the arts. Cultural Co-operation was established in 1987, and their programme includes the summer Music Village, Europe’s longest-running festival of world cultures; London Diaspora Capital, an internet-based resource that raises the profile of artists from London’s diverse communities; a year-round education programme for schools; regular continuing professional development for artists; and a number of related projects.

  • One-to-one advice
  • Training, which includes Continuing Professional Development course for artists to work in schools (in school hours) and INSET training for teachers
  • Research and publications including Management of Cultural Pluralism in Europe, Non Western Arts in the Netherlands, teacher packs and CD
  • Conferences on cultural dialogue and international cultural relations.
